First Foreign Language High School 

This is the oldest high school in Varna. First  Foreign Language High School is the successor of  First Boys' School, which was inaugurated in 1879/1880. In 1965 the school was transformed into a Foreign Language High School. At present 176 sudents are annually admitted to the school, ranked by the results of their admission examinations, and are distributed into eight classes-four for students majoring in English ,and four for those majoring in German. Hundreds of these students and graduates enhance the image of our town and Bulgaria all over the world. Lots of them are among the leading figures of  Bulgaria's  political, economic, and spiritual life.

 40th Anniversary of First Foreign Language High School

On May 21st at 5p.m. in the Palace of Sports  and Culture, a gala concert in celebration of the school's 40th Anniversary , will take place.

 

First Language School

 

On April, 26th at 12.30 p.m. in the school's foyer on the second floor, a Museum Exhibition Corner will be opened. The museum collection highlights the 125th Anniversary of First Boys' High School and the 40th Anniversary of First Foreign Language High School in Varna. Everyone who happens to keep materials related to the rich history of the school is kindly requested to contact the school authorities.
